Fresh Hope

It is a new day and there is fresh expectation in the atmosphere.
The hand of the Lord outstretched for us even now.
His protection and hedge all around
He gives us fresh hope – by giving a right understanding and revelation of “The Wilderness”
It is a consecrated and Holy time

This is a season Holy unto the Lord
Because this is where, this is how; this is the path of drawing
This is the place of crushing – but it is sweet
This is the place of answered prayers – a Yes from the Lord

The longer, the harder, the deeper, the more intense – so will be the outcome
Sowing into the Wilderness only reaps Heavenly rewards
This is the time when we stay
We accept, we embrace, we rejoice because the Lord is worth it
We fall on the rock. And the rock is love, the rock is Holy, the rock is Good

This is how we come into the deep places of the Heart of God
Jesus set the example
Life was never going to be lived without pain
Our example is the Cross, have we forgotten?

So here, now, in the Wilderness – it is good
Can you feel the heartbeat of the Father?
Can you sense Him all around you?
Can you see Him working?
Trust. Let go. Let go. Let go of it all.

Holy encounters
As fire falls down from Heaven
Letting go of everything the world says we should pursue
Letting go of everyone I have ever tried to please
Letting go of my own self and of directing my own life
Father,
Here it is. What do You want?
What is it that You desire?
Find here, in me a willing servant, find in me a willing heart, find in me one who will give it up and who will choose You
Father here, have my heart. Father, here, have my spirit and my soul and my will.
I feel the weight of the Holy Spirit.
Direct my path. Guide my steps. I awaken to You now. You’re beautiful.
Colors of the dawn, openness of the sky, depths of the sea and distances of the wide expanses of the earth
Am I not amazed when I consider Your works?
Am I not perplexed when I try to comprehend who You are?
Take me deeper. Take me higher. More, always more…
You went to the Cross, could I hold back my life?
What is the appropriate response –
Is it not love?
Is it not a life that is lived with the knowledge of love?
Is it not letting You love us as You would?
Is it not letting Your delight in us and Your words for us come and overwhelm?
You’re beautiful.
